Pausanias, we are working on making sure it does not corrupt by checking it shuts down cleanly - we have already fixed a hang that sometimes occurs
if it does not shutdown cleanly on next startup it will perform an integrity check and if and only if that fails will we force a reindex gnome-session allows 10 secs for trackerd to exit by default so I dont think this will be common. Also an unclean shutdown should not corrupt the database unless its in the middle of indexing We have also moved all writing to the database to one thread to also rule out multiple threads corrupting the index so the goal is to make it much more robust -- tracker does not stop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
