** Description changed: QtiPlot (ver. 0.9.8.9-17) crashes (quits immediately) in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS when selecting python as the scripting language, or when loading a file with python specified as the scripting language. I have found the same behaviour in two separate fresh installs of Ubuntu 18.04. Worked fine in 17.10. + + ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: when I start qtiplot from the terminal, it + returns "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" when the crash happens.
