** Attachment added: "Actual "buggy" video test screen" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10230428/Screenshot-Ubuntu%20device%20database%20collection-1.png
** Description changed: Binary package hint: hwdb-client I launched the Ubuntu device database collection tool, and after the audio test, whenever I click on "forward" to proceed with the video test, the collection tool window's title changes from "Audio Test" to "Video", but still outputs the audio question: "Testing detected soundcard: V8237. Did you hear the sound?" This video testing outputs nothing else (no radio button or comment box), and the "Forward" button is unavailable (grayed), leaving me no other choice apart from clicking on "Cancel". This defect happens for any values given to the Audio Test (Yes, Partial, No, N/A), and whether I leave the comment box empty or not. + + Video card: Nvidia GeForce 6200 256Mo AGP 8X (using Nvidia restriced + "new" driver) -- ubuntu device database collection tool crashes after audio test https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159170 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
