Why do you say it has something to do with livepatch? This is the error from the log:
awk: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/libreadline.so.7: undefined symbol: UP This looks like a problem with the libreadline library, but since the library being used is in /usr/local/lib it looks like something you have installed manually, not something from an Ubuntu package. I'd suggest uninstalling the library and trying the update again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1774484 Title: package linux-firmware 1.173.1 failed to install/upgrade: installed linux-firmware package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 127 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/1774484/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
