Public bug reported: The quite useful pdf suite pdftk has been dropped in ubuntu bionic, while having been present in all recent ubuntus up to artful.
Dropping of pdftk followed its dropping in debian, due to its dependency on the now deprecated GCJ runtime. However, there is a port to pure java of pdftk and I think that the latter should be packaged to replace the GCJ version of pdftk rather than dropping it.
