Hello Joseph, I tested the kernel you provide with the commit 2f500a9d7ff6 reverted and after many reboot to test stability I have not been able to reproduce the kernel "panic" with the traceback above (see #1).
I have take care that the "noapic" option wasn't pass to grub (like in #4) and that I boot the provided test kernel (#155~lp1776005). See below a "paste" to ensure that I'm doing the right test. http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/52RfcTG9NG/ I will receive soon other laptops which seems to have a similar symptom but not exactly the same. Hoping it's a problem related to this commit too In all case, thanks for your time on this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1776005 Title: kernel instability with BTRFS filesystem as rootfs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1776005/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
