I have this problem too in Ubuntu Mate 18.04. I tried it with a persistent USB installed genuine Ubuntu 18.04 (64bit) and that too shows this problem. On 16.04 LTS the problem does not occur. Indeed it is just the DCIM/Camera folder that has the problem. Cheers, Peter
