As you requested, the full output of sudo update-initramfs -u :

pim@pim:~$ sudo update-initramfs -u

pim@pim:~$

After that the 30 second delay is still there.


The warning messages only appears when I manually remove the 
/etc/initramfs-tool/conf.d/resume file.
