I received a mail from Theo giving me the solution. I removed all references to Anjuta in /etc/apt/preferences and /etc/apt/sources.list followed by apt-get update and I could install Anjuta. In my case I had to remove the entire /etc/apt/preferences file for it to work, an empty file gave the following error:
E: Invalid record in the preferences file, no Package header Thanks Theo. -- anjuta can not be installed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157563 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
