hi ChristianParatschek for numero 2 Network manager doesn't have an autodetect on .7 does it, because MANy esp. newbies will not be able to dialup easily without an detect feature that gnome-ppp has and is what got me started online and kept using linux/ubuntu otherwise I would of quit without the DETECT feature in the setup part of course it should prob. be asked first in the near future when it is first started up and or installed. :) Also NM sucks gnome-ppp all the way..
