Same problem here. I choose to put under /dev/sda1, because I am trying to create a manual LUKS installation, and I will have a Windows 10 installation in the same hard drive. I will encrypt Windows with veracrypt so, in the boot time, if I press esc, I will be redirected to the LUKS boot screen.
