With only one user, if I logout, X hangs -- can't even get a console with ctrl-alt-f3.
Also, if I need to restart X with ctrl-alt-backspace, it hangs. I am able to ssh into the machine and restart gdm3, and that allows me to log back in. I added another user to see if I had a problem with a config related to my user. Just adding another user to the system has halted the hangs. I can now logout and restart X without issue. I am not sure what logs to attach, because I haven't been able to find any indication of a problem other than X hanging. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1710750 Title: session hangs on logout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1710750/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
