This is probably being caused by the following commit:

UBUNTU: [Config] azure: CONFIG_HOTPLUG_CPU=n
The lttng_hp_prepare and lttng_hp_online variables are declared inside a
#ifdef block and are probably used somewhere else without the proper
checking.
So this is a regression that needs to be fixed on the lttng dkms code.
