but I don't understand why we need a merge?
I think all previous Ubuntu merges can be dropped, and I don't think it is
worth carrying a delta just to correct some editorial mistake.
Can you please:
1. Report the packaging mistake (inclusion of backup files) to Debian (please
link the Debian bug here)?
2. Check if indeed all previous Ubuntu changes can be dropped, and if so,
change this to a sync request?
