Public bug reported:

while installing Ubuntu 17.10 and 18.04, it could not install. instead
showed error that problem in copying files. may be hardware error or
your hard drive may be the problem. I checked with tools and there were
no errors or bad sectors in my hard disk. don't know what happened. but
i used the same install disk before.
