Public bug reported:
I've been running chrony with the default config except for disabling
stepping the clock. I run it on a laptop that suspends/resumes
frequently. I've noticed that it will sometimes just exit and not get
restarted. There doesn't seem to be much of an explanation in the logs:
$ journalctl -r | grep chrony
