Public bug reported:

The linux-generic-hwe-16.04 upgrade from 4.13 to 4.15.0.24.46 has broken
the network connectivity of my machine.

The  bnx2/bnx2-mips-06-6.2.3.fw  firmware seems to be missing/removed in
the 4.15 kernel.

See `apt-file search bnx2/bnx2-mips-06-6.2.3.fw`
The firmware was part of the 4.4 / 4.8 / 4.10 / 4.11 / 4.13 kernels.
