As the aufs module has been promoted to the main linux-image package for
linux-aws, maybe you can skip the installation for linux-image-
extra-$(uname -r)?
And as per Kamal's comment in that bug description, there is no -extra
package for linux-aws, I think this is another good reason for you to
skip the extra package.
