Public bug reported:
VirtualBox 5.1.34 fails to run a Virtual Machine.
Issue with 'vboxdrv'.
Solution: use earlier kernel.
I went back to: 4.13.0-45-generic, the last of the 4.13 series.
And now VirtualBox works as it should.
