Public bug reported: In Annex "C.2. The Directory Tree" of the Ubuntu Installation Guide (https://help.ubuntu.com/16.04/installation-guide/amd64/apcs02.html) the paragraph (in bullets) "It is now recommended to have /usr on the root partition /, otherwise it could cause some trouble at boot time. This means that you should provide at least 600–750MB of disk space for the root partition including /usr, or 5–6GB for a workstation or a server installation." is duplicated.
Note that in the "source" document from Debian is not (https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/amd64/apcs02.html.en) duplicated the paragraph. IMHO the fix is just remove the duplicated bullet-paragraph. ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: installation-guide ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1780835 Title: Paragraph duplicated in annex "C.2.
