I realized in the current Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty Gibbon distribution there is
no way to configure properly your touchpad (horitzontally/vertically
scrolling, enabling it..) unless you add the following package:
gsynaptics
I thing this feature is quite important and should be included in the
next distribution because in my COMPAQ Presario laptop, for instance,
the horitzontally scrolling option doesn't work after the deafult
installation.
