* Generate udev rules files to rename devices (LP: #1770082) Due to a systemd issue[1], using link files to rename interfaces doesn't work as expected. Link files will not rename an interface if it was already renamed, and interfaces are renamed in initrd, so set-name will often not work as expected when rebooting. However, rules files will cause a renaming, even if the interface has been renamed in initrd. * tests/integration.py: fix test_eth_and_bridge autopkg test harder. * tests/integration.py: fix test_mix_bridge_on_bond autopkgtest too. -- Mathieu Trudel-Lapierre <cypher...@ubuntu.com> Thu, 05 Jul 2018 16:54:52 -0400 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770082 Title: systemd-networkd not renaming devices on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/netplan/+bug/1770082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
