What I did was, that I inserted the "-n" option into the Exec line of
/lib/systemd/system/rpc-gssd.service. That did the trick!

Now the follow-up question: where does the $GSSDARGS variable in the
systemd rpc-gssd.service definition come from? I was under the
impression, that it should be defined in the /etc/default/nfs-common
file. But that does not work (the "-n" option was defined there in the
original - not working configuration). I'm not able to find this piece
of information anywhere...
