After installing Kadu Instant Messanger[1] on Ubuntu fonts in Kadu are
too big. Kadu is written in Qt toolkit, version 3.x

Ubuntu-Kadu users are forced to install "qt3-qtconfig" if they want to
fix default ugly settings. [by the way: "Qt configuration" also has too
big fonts as can be seen in attachment [2] It could be another bug
because in qtconfig fonts are set as small (size 6,7 - unfortunately
font without support for Polish signs. DejaVu would be better). This
configuration was ignored until I saved configuration from qtconfig menu
and started apps again.] The problem in my opinion would be resolved if
Qt had working default settings. (Installing any Qt application should
force installing qt3-config, furthermore this settings must not be
ignored).

Maybe two more screenshots:

This situation can't be ignored by Kadu developers. But Kadu Team don't
want to force settings for size of any font. We want to use "system
font" in every distro and it should just work.

This bug was confirmed on GutsyGibbon, so this one ->
