This error appears to have been fixed in Gutsy Gibbon final release. Not only is the error not present, but the adapter appears to work without NDIS wrapper. Although this has not been tested extensively. I was not able to connect to WEP encrypted network, but again I have barely begun to look at what might be causing the problem, so I would not want to report anything at this time. Only that the USB core exception that was thrown in 7.04 does not appear in 7.10.
