Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
Last time the screensavers-personal-slideshow ran (a screensaver that shows pictures from "~/Bilder", which is something like "~/Pictures" in English), I saw some pictures that I don't really want people to see; This was the first time I became aware of the existence of this screensaver. The images that were shown lie in a hidden directory in my images folder. I request that this screensaver doesn't traverse hidden directories when looking for images to show. Hidden directories are hidden for a reason. :-) ** Affects: gnome-screensaver Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #492949 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=492949 ** Also affects: gnome-screensaver via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=492949 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- screensavers-personal-slideshow should not show hidden directories https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159685 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
