Thanks for your reply. Since I've successfully installed Ubuntu 18.04 on the same machine with the same partition scheme and same USB key, the bug may be closed now.
Last night, I repeated the installation to observe the error message, which indicated a squashfs error. I checked my live USB for integrity, and found the system found two corrupted files there. As a result, I recreated my live USB using UNetBootin, and ran the same test from GRUB before the actual installation. ** Attachment added: "20180729_214154_HDR.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1784194/+attachment/5169279/+files/20180729_214154_HDR.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1784194 Title: ubuntu installer crash on Fujitsu AH557 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1784194/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
