This bug needs to be assigned a high priority, because right now there is no working encryption method that is considered reliable. • ecryptfs is considered buggy and insufficiently maintained. • fscrypt is unusable as described in this bug report. • Full-system encryption is unsuitable for most users, because it wipes any other OS such as Windows. (There is an alternative — https://goo.gl/KtsLMk — that doesn't do this, but it has two important flaws.)
