I think I've found a workaround for this issue, in my case adding 'acpi_osi=' to the linux kernel parameters solved it. I am running a Dell Inspiron 15 5577 (with latest BIOS, v1.1.0).
For a permanent solution, I changed this line at: ```/etc/default/grub GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_osi=" ``` and then you have to run: ``` $ sudo update-grub ``` -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1784152 Title: i2c_hid_get_input floods system logs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1784152/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
