I thought experimenting with POST_VIDEO=true, SAVE_VBE_STATE=true and
SAVE_VIDEO_PCI_STATE=true could help but I don't know. I haven't used s2ram.
Maybe you could recheck the manpage of s2ram if there detailed descriptions of
your working options.
