Public bug reported: zsync cannot download the target file, if it is requested by HTTPS.
It just says the remote file cannot be found as if you have defined an invalid URI. This happens for example if you get isos from a mirror like https://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/ubuntu-releases/18.04.1 Change it to http in cmdline or the "URL" line in zsync file and it works fine. zsync 0.6.2-1ubuntu1 DISTRIB_ID=neon DISTRIB_RELEASE=16.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=xenial DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="KDE neon User Edition 5.13" ** Affects: zsync (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: xenial ** Tags added: xenial -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1786336 Title: No download over HTTPS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zsync/+bug/1786336/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
