Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22


The default Gutsy server install fails to correctly configure the two Ethernet 
interfaces (one onboard, one Realtek card) on my hardware. I'm guessing its an 
IRQ routing issue.

Setting pci=noacpi in the kernel boot parameters works around the
problem, but I lose the ACPI facilities.

The strange thing is that the default Feisty desktop install gets ACPI
right. I haven't tested the Gutsy desktop, but the Feisty server install
failed with what I assume is the same problem.

I am using the latest (and only) BIOS available for my hardware, which
is an HP Vectra XE310 series 2.
