Just tried Ubuntu 18.04.1 LiveCD. LiveCD starts applications can be executed.
However, after installation of 18.04.1 just the graphical login screen was displayed. I can enter user and password but after pressing enter the login screen always is displayed again and again. But I could login by terminal (ALT-CTL-F2). So I performed apt-get install nvidia-384. The command replaced the installed the nouveau driver and installed the nvidia 390-48 driver. Now I can login on graphical login screen without problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1785596 Title: No LiveDVD start of 18.04 on MSI AM4 with Ryzen 7 with Nvidia graphics To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1785596/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
