Public bug reported:

Enabling workrave GNOME extension breaks a few translations from
working. See attached image: Top images are broken, bottom are with
correct translations. On the left side is trying to run synaptic where
password is prompted for, on the right side is trying to unlock the
GNOME lock screen.

To reproduce on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS:

1. apt install workrave
2. dconf write /org/gnome/shell/enabled-extensions ['"workr...@workrave.org"']
3. The problem should be visible immediately

To restore working translations:
1. dconf reset /org/gnome/shell/enabled-extensions
2. Log out and log in again

Maybe the Gettext.bindtextdomain / Gettext.textdomain in workrave
extension are defined incorrectly, but I don't immediately see it too
different from eg ubuntu-dock extension's usage.
