Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: upstart
on a clean install of edgy knot2 everything worked fine until the upstart
package was installed, after that the computer will no longer restart. it
starts to then it just hangs and the monitor goes blank, and i have to manually
reset the computer with the reset switch.
I've also tried doing a clean install using the edgy knot3 disk, and the
problem is now present from the beginning, when the installer finishes and asks
for the system to be restarted it begins to restart, ejects the cd, and hangs
and has to be manually reset.
in case it's needed my system specs are
AMD64 3400+
Biostar nf325-a7 motherboard
1gig value ram
and I'm using the 32bit version of edgy
