Public bug reported:
The default Gnome Settings app, installed with the Update to 18.04, doesn't
save changes to to the audio output device. Other devices can be selected, but
when navigating forward and back the original output device is still choosen,
not the one last selected.
Additionally, the audio output device does not change when selected.
