Here is a simple patch based on plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text.install that
fixes both
dpkg: warning: version '/etc/lsb-release' has bad syntax: version
number does not start with digit
and
rmdir: failed to remove '/lib/plymouth/': No such file or directory
