Public bug reported:
On a small number of systems, changes made in the Preferences dialog are not
saved.
In .xsession-errors the following is seen
Xsession: X session started for ken at Tue Aug 21 10:32:09 EDT 2018
localuser:ken being added to access control list
dbus-update-activation-environment: error: unable to connect to D-Bus:
/usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally without any error message
The reason appears to be that dbus-x11 is not installed. Installing it
fixes the problem. This is only seen rarely as normally other packages
will have pulled in dbus-x11.
It seems that in the gnucash package dbus-x11 is only declared as
Suggests. I think it should probably be a hard dependency.
