Public bug reported:
Hi, there is a small bug bothering me long time. I use evolution under Ubuntu
18.04 LTS, the mail lists do not well displayed when there contains Chinese or
Japanese. Ideally, the text of mail list should be in center in vertical
direction each row, and it does so when there is only English. But once the
text contain Chinese or Japanese, the text moves down and its bottom part will
not display. Please see my attachment.
Firstly,I thought it might be a evolution bug, so I filed a bug here,[bugzilla
bug id 796437](https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=796437) ,but the
developer can't reproduce this bug on Fedora, so he didn't solve my problem.
After that,I tried all themes shipped with Ubuntu 18.04 and some third-
party themes to see if it helps, nothing changes.
Also, due to the developers who use Fedora say he can't reproduce the
bug, I tried Manjaro Gnome in virtualbox too,no problem observed, both
default themes and third-party themes.
So, maybe it is Ubuntu's setting which cause this bug in summary.
