Public bug reported:
During the installation process the desktop freezes. It is still
possible to move the mouse cursor arround, but the desktop does not
respond to mouse clicks or pressed keyboard keys.
This happens each time I try to install ubuntu 18.04 on this noteook
making the installation process impossible to complete.
