K, I just managed to get the restricted drivers compiling on 2.6.22-14. So
video is good again. Somethings up with my network now :(

I'll post my 2 heavily edited files as per this link:

Essentially I removed all of the unnecessary platforms from the
control.stub.in file and I adjusted the "rules" file as per the link.

Then did:
debian/rules debian/control
debian/rules binary-arch

I'll try commenting out those lines when I get more time (kids
sleeping).
