Thanks Antonio, I think you meant that the problem no longer exists
*since* Trusty Tahr. I'll mark this bug as "Fixed Released" since I now
remember similar problems in other applications when using Unity so it
may not have actually been a synaptic bug.
See bug 798437 for the reason why apt-xapian-index is no longer
installed by default.
