Public bug reported:
This occurred during the recent update. The machine is a MacBook with a
250 gig ssd drive, and 8 gigs of RAM.
I also noted that in the recent version there are problems with the
track pad. "Turn off trackpad while typing" does not work, and remains
on. This is also true with an Acer computer that is here, and the only
way to make it functional is to turn the track pad off completely and
use a mouse.
I noted in the MacOS that bumping the trackpad with the heel of your
hand has no effect, while one or two fingers are detected. Is it
possible to change the coding so that it is looking at a smaller active
area on the track pad? That would help immensely, or even using a hot
key for toggling the track pad on and off, either an F key or something
not normally used?
Thanks,
Eliza
