Public bug reported:
When testing out a new OS, I chose the option to install Ubuntu and
enable LUKS encryption + LVM.
I was waiting for the confirmation page to ensure that the installer was
installing to the correct disk. It turns out I'd chosen the wrong disk
(my main disk) and I figured that I'd simply be able to rollback the
installer at the confirmation screen.
The horrific violation of my expectations was that the installer
_encrypted my main disk and setup LVM_ BEFORE i confirmed the
installation. Now I'm stuck with my main disk being encrypted and
unmountable. I'm trying desperately to recover my main disk which I
cannot boot from, can decrypt but cannot mount.
Please assist!
