Public bug reported:

Hi,
given the security update
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/5.7.23-0ubuntu1
there seem to be issues around floating point precision.

There was a follow on upload
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/5.7.23-0ubuntu2
But it fails in several tests with floaint point differences still.

mdeslaur is out atm, so I take a look.
The main purpose of the bug is to document what I find on the way to sync later
when he is back.

Example issue:
https://objectstorage.prodstack4-5.canonical.com/v1/AUTH_77e2ada1e7a84929a74ba3b87153c0ac/autopkgtest-cosmic/cosmic/ppc64el/m/mysql-5.7/20180828_001821_e1ce6@/log.gz

With differences like:
-0.000000000000000000000117549438 1.17549e-22
+0.000000000000000000000117549426 1.17549e-22

** Affects: mysql-5.7 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
