Thanks for the update, Karl-Philipp. Thanks also for changing the status. By the way, we use the "invalid" status to close a ticket such as this one.
I know it seems that "fix released" is clearer but that status is used specifically for the case where a fix/patch has been released for that exact bug report. In the future a person may find this bug report and want to know where that patch is, that fixed this problem. So, for these bug reports which got generally resolved by later releases of Ubuntu, we use "invalid" to say it is no longer a problem. Does that make sense to you? Have a great day! :) G -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496992 Title: requirements of proprietary plugin path are too unclear To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1496992/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
