When installing kernel 4.15 (all HWE versions), I get the following
error message:
/etc/kernel/header_postinst.d/dkms:
ERROR (dkms apport): kernel package linux-headers-4.15.0-34-generic is not
supported

Consult /var/lib/dkms/tp_smapi/0.42/build/make.log for more information.
The tp_smpapi module cannot be compiled for this kernel.
It does get compiled for kernel 4.4 (lts-xenial).
