This bug was fixed in the package maas - 2.5.0~beta1-7225-g817fb216d-
0ubuntu1
---------------
maas (2.5.0~beta1-7225-g817fb216d-0ubuntu1) cosmic; urgency=medium
* New upstream release (LP: #1792389)
* debian/control: Depend on python3-jinja2
* MAAS now manages its own rsyslog daemon:
- d/maas-common.maas-syslog.service: Add service.
- d/extras/99-maas-common-sudoers: start/stop/status for maas-rsyslog.
- d/rules: Handle installation of maas-rsyslog.
- d/extras/20-maas.conf: Drop as MAAS now generates its own config.
- d/maas-region-api.install: Drop install of 20-maas.conf.
- d/maas-region-api.postinst: Drop restart of rsyslog.
- d/maas-common.install: Drop install of maas-rsyslog.conf.
- d/maas-common.{preinst,postinst}: Handle upgrades.
