Public bug reported:
After upgrading to the 18.10 development version from 18.04 only "Dummy
sound" is shown. The speakers are not recognized, but plugging
headphones works. The system was working well in 18.04.
With:
sudo alsa force-reload
the speakers start to be shown in the sound system parameters and sound
is reproduced through the speakers normally.
