Dear Walter, Just a little addendum. When PcManFM freezes, all the running instances of it freezing, however their windows are manageable which means minimizing, maximizing, moving are working but telling the truth wen maximizing of course it doesn't show any window content since the program is not responding. It is closing which is not working since the task manager cannot send the normal close command. Then the task manager sends a message the program is not responding.
When starting a new instance of PCManFm before this message appear, all the instances vanish from the screen, and the new one will work correctly until the next crash.
